Beth Crownover

With over 20 years in informal education, Beth Crownover guides the National Air and Space Museum's Education team in leveraging the Museum’s collections and research to engage the next generation of innovators and explorers by tapping into their natural curiosity and fostering their critical thinking skills. She is particularly interested in how museums can increasingly become an integral partner with established learning ecosystems. Prior to joining Smithsonian, she worked with the Learning team at the Field Museum in Chicago. Crownover has a BA with majors in history and religion and an emphasis in Education and an Executive Scholar Certificate for Nonprofit Management from the Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
