Dr. Catherine (Catrina) Nowakowski is a Denise O’Leary and Kent Thiry Sustainability Postdoctoral Fellow through a joint program with the Smithsonian Institution and The Nature Conservancy. She uses molecular isotope chemistry and spatial modeling to reveal how coastal wetlands connect with surrounding ecosystems.
