Bruce M. Beehler

Bruce M. Beehler is an ornithologist, naturalist, conservationist, author and lecturer. As a research associate in the division of birds at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History, he organized a series of biodiversity surveys of the Foja Mountains in Indonesia New Guinea from 2005 to 2008. Beehler has published 11 books and monographs, most recently Birds of New Guinea: Distribution, Taxonomy, and Systematics.
