Dancing with Black Holes

Daniel Evans is a black hole hunter and astrophysicist at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory. He has made pioneering observations of supermassive black holes using NASAs Chandra X-ray observatory, and led the team that discovered the famous Death Star Galaxy. He currently serves as one of the youngest Program Directors at the National Science Foundation, and is responsible for funding the next great astrophysical discoveries.
