Caroline Fiertz

Caroline Fiertz (she/her) is the Interns and Fellows Program Manager at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. Since joining the museum in 2018, Caroline has continued to create and cultivate equitable and meaningful professional learning and research experiences. Her inclusive approach is informed by her experiences as a public school teacher in Maryland and informal educator at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, through which she learned about program evaluation and community-centered practice. Caroline holds a BA in English and a Master of Arts in Teaching from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
