Patricia Ortega-Miranda

Patricia Ortega-Miranda is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art History & Archeology at the University of Maryland, College Park, where she specializes in 20th century art with an emphasis in Latin American art and culture. She earned her Master’s degree in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin, where she wrote her thesis about the documentary practice of Nicolás Guillén Landrián. She was an education fellow at the Blanton Museum of Art in Austin, Texas; and a research fellow at the ICAA at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and at the National Portrait Gallery. She is currently Registrar & Curatorial Assistant at the University of Maryland Art Gallery.
