In his talk, “Mirrors and Melted Telephones,” Mullican will reflect on Holt’s system of vision and Smithson’s attention to matter and entropy through his own work and practice, followed by a conversation with Lisa Le Feuvre, Executive Director of Holt/Smithson Foundation. In his five decades of artmaking, this will be the fourth time Mullican gives a talk on art that is not his own.
