Germaine Greer

For two years, Germaine Greer searched for a piece of devastated Australia that she might be able to fix; in 2001, she found 150 acres of battered subtropical rainforest in south-east Queensland. Once the forest had her in its clutches, it took over. She tells the story in her new book White Beech.
