A.E. Hotchner

A.E. Hotchner is the author of many books, including Papa Hemingway and the forth-coming Hemingway in Love: His Own Story. Hotchner was a friend of Ernest Hemingway’s and the co-founder of Newman’s Own.

Hemingway enters New York Harbor with his second wife, Pauline Pfeiffer, aboard the ocean liner Paris on April 3, 1934. He described her as “clever and entertaining and full of desire.”
