Every year, millions of salmon swim into Katmai National Park in Alaska, looking to find a nice place to lay their eggs. And every year, hungry brown bears are ready and waiting.

This year the park teamed up with explore.org to stream the yearly feast online, live.

Established in 1980, Katmai National Park is home to around 2,000 brown bears. According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, brown bear populations took a dive in the 1970s, but reductions on hunting have allowed them to rebound somewhat.
