In 1974, the DynaTAC cell phone became the first portable phone on the consumer market. It was 13 inches tall, and fat as a brick. In the last forty years, cell phone technology has changed considerably. This animation, by Amrit Pal Singh, takes you through those years, from the DynaTAC to the Oribitel TPU900 to the iPhone:
