I believe we're looking at fishermen who use cormorants to capture the fish.

Superbly seen

If ever a photo image could be transformed into a painting that could stimulate and calm at the same time, "Cormoran fisherman", i feel, could qualify. It enchants.

Love how busy they look rowing and yet motionless in the frame.

I love the colors; they create a surreal, other-worldly effect. It's like a Chinese version of the River Styx.

It's artwork,the lantern is the omnipotent power from where the people emanated,from darkness to light.
