Craig Pittman is the environmental columnist for the Florida Phoenix, co-host of the podcast "Welcome to Florida," and the author of six books, including the New York Times bestseller Oh, Florida! How America's Weirdest State Influences the Rest of the Country and Cat Tale: The Wild, Weird Battle to Save the Florida Panther. Last year, the national Sierra Club named him winner of the Rachel Carson Award.
