World Cup Celebration

German supporters cheering the victory of their team in a match of the 2016 FIFA World Cup. Since the WWII, the German people were a bit ashamed of showing some patriotism. No german flags were hanging in the streets or waved at festive events. Everything changed after the 2006 FIFA World Cup, held in Germany. Every supporters of the other nations were waving their flags, chanting their patriotism. For the first time, the Germans felt like they could be proud of their own country and participate to the big party with the rest of the planet.
