Two shadows in Yosemite Valley
My friend and I spent a week in Yosemite. Each day we chose a general area in the park, but never made plans to follow a certain trail, which left us free to explore in any direction. When I shot this photo, my friend was pointing to a waterfall that seemed close, but was actually very far away. Moments later, both distracted by photography, we inadvertently headed in different directions. He went back down. I headed toward the waterfall didn't make it back down for 3-4 hours. Scary and fun.
