Tracks of Birkenau

This photo was taken at the train tracks of the Birkenau concentration camp in Poland (Auschwitz II). It was a dreary day, and I chose to make this a black and white photo to show what it felt like being there. I could feel the pain, sorrow, and emotions coming from the place as I walked down the train tracks. I could feel a dark presence as I walked down the path where hundreds of thousands of innocent people lost their lives.
