Top of the World

My father was given the opportunity to visit the top of the Golden Gate Bridge with his best friend on Feb 28, 1988. I spent my childhood listening to stories of one of the greatest days the two of them shared together, on top of the world. Two months before my second son was born, my husband made it possible for me to venture up to the very spot my dad once stood, 28 years ago. This was a day of refection, a day of pure joy, and the day I finally found peace in his passing. Words, nor photos, can explain what I had been searching for and found 746 feet up.
