The sound of Tambourine

The word “ZAR” originally means in Egypt, a folkloric exorcism party which is held by some kind of warlock, with heavy drum beats and hysterical dance and some magical rituals, the people who are hunted by ghosts should repulse the ghosts out of themselves. “Mazaher” band is a group of traditional artists from south Egypt, they make a modern simulation of the old (ZAR) parties, with the songs and the music and the costumes, but without the extreme madness of the magical rituals.
