The Shot Heard Around the World

It is difficult to believe this now serene and stunning location was the location of the shot that set off World War I. Archduke Franz Ferdinand was passing on the road next to the Latin Bridge (pictured) in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina when he was assassinated.
