The Jeri Lady

I photographed this woman in a small village not far outside of Janakpur, Nepal. She and three other women graciously accepted us into their home while we were passing through and made the best breakfast I've ever had, which included jeri (also known as jalebi), a delicious, sweet, fried dough pastry.
