Traveling to Taos New Mexico with a friend we discovered a hot air balloon landing in a field.
This was taken on a road trip that started in Richmond, Va., meandered up the Eastern Shore peninsula, and then headed northwest toward Annapolis, D.C. and, finally, Baltimore.

I photographed these shoes in a Paris shop window.  They made me think of how long Paris has been one of the fashion capitols of the world.
This photo was taken in a Paris Metro station.  The man with the horn in the billboard seemed to be trying to awaken the sleeping Metro riders.
