15th Annual Photo Contest
Temple in the spring.

Temples blend seamlessly with the nature of Korea. More ancient then most, but younger then nature, you find them tucked into mountains, surrounded by forests and water. They are a place of escape, hidden but easily found. Their bright colors representations of the life found around them. When I was in Korea was taken by the intercity and detail of the Korean Temples. The interlocking walls and wood are assembled without the use of nails, the building are created to show a sense of harmony and balance that is innate in the world. The colors represent difference aspects of life.
