Sunrise over Pinnacle Ridge

I was on a backpacking trip with my wife and a friend to summit Mt Whitney. We camped at 8,000 ft first then hiked at midnight to reach Trail Camp (over 11,000ft) before the sunrise. My wife was admiring the view, sitting on a small rock sticking out on the Trail Lake when I photographed her and the magnificent view of Pinnacle Ridge. However, that day our friend got sick so we had to turn back without summiting the mountain. It was a great experience though!
