Simple As It Is

Monks in tradition-clad robes are quite the sight in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. In the main temple, the Tsuglagkhang Complex, Tibetan culture overflows with goodness and purity. Rituals and tradition are followed to the 't' even today. Prayer wheels is an integral aspect of the monastery. They are used to accumulate wisdom and merit (good karma) and to purify negativities (bad karma). Pictured above is a monk on one of his traditional endeavors which include meditation and teaching the younger disciples.
