Ritual

Gajan is as ancient festival of Rural bengal where lord shiva is worshipped and taken to nearby river for fresh bath via palaquin. In this ritual lord shiva is taken to palaquin by the priest while priest's foot wont touch the ground.he will walk over the other priests lying on the ground.
