17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest
One of the most moving memorials in Budapest.
Although I didn´t have to much time to explore the city I still managed 1 hour to see this memorial and reflect about it.
This memorial gives remembrance to the 3,500 people, 800 of them Jews, who were shot into the Danube during the time of the Arrow Cross terror. I think it´s important to remember our past so that we can avoid things like this in the future.
