Millennium Spire in Beautiful Springtime in Belleville, Illinois!

The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows attracts over one million visitors each year from all religious denominations. This famous, over 50-year-old Belleville, Illinois destination is one of the most beautiful and largest Shrines in the U.S. Pope John Paul II urged the world to prepare for the "Great Jubilee 2000" as a time of hope and the 85-foot-tall Millennium Spire was designed and constructed, overlooking the Shrine's 2,400-seat amphitheater.
