Long exposure, Triumphal Arch, Bucharest

Triumphal arches are one of the most influential and distinctive types of architecture associated with ancient Rome. The survival of great Roman triumphal arches such as the Arch of Titus inspired many post-Roman states and rulers. This photograph depicts "Arcul de Triumf", the Triumphal Arch located in the northern part of Bucharest, built to commemorate the Heroes of the War of Independence and World War I.
