Life in the Sweaty Dark

This photo was taken from Nwel Nyein village from central Myanmar situated at the western bank of Irrawaddy River where majority of residences earn by making china and clay pots traditionally. This photo shows the last step of making clay pots where dry pots are putting into the chimney for final heating. Two women are arranging those pots inside the cave where the inside temperature is much higher than the normal as a result their life is struggling with sweat, heat, smoke and dust. Although their products deliver throughout the country, nowadays, the same products imported from nearby country called China with low price which break or narrow market space for local residences. I would like to highlight the poor condition of indigenous people from Nwel Nyein village through this photo.
