Life Along the River

People in the remote areas of India tremendously depend upon river as they do not have modern system of water supply . Even tube-wells are also rare . The mother in this photograph was washing her utensils after washing clothes . She and her children would take bath in the river water also . During winter months , the river dry up [as seen in this photograph] and these poor people are in great trouble.
