La Corbiere Lighthouse, Jersey

This lighthouse is perched on a large rock on the coast of Jersey asserting its authority above the sea. It is only accessible at low tide and becomes cut off from the mainland every high tide. The lighthouse is reflected in the rockpool below reminding the viewer of its importance for those on the sea and one land.
