15th Annual Smithsonian.com Photo Contest
In North Kenya we can see usually lots of camels herding by borana people. While parts of Kenya are becoming drier, a growing number of people are starting to keep camels. The animals are more drought-resistant than cows - and their highly nutritious milk is catching on around the world. In this case a young boy was with a small herd of camel and gave me an opportunity to create a photo composition.
