Joy and Chaos at Holi Festival

Hundreds of people join in throwing colors at each other during the Holi Festival in India which welcomes the coming of Spring and honors the love between Hindu God Krishna and his lover Radha. This particular version of Holi called "Lathmar Holi" where women beat men with sticks for fun is celebrated in the towns of Barsana and Nandgaon, near Mathura in India.
