Jemaa el-Fnaa, Marrakech

Jemaa el-Fnaa, located within the walls of the Medina of Marrakech, is one of the most lively squares in the world, and after sunset, the activity increases tenfold with locals and tourists sitting in small circles admiring the traditional singing, dancing, and instrumental skills of the Berber musicians for a negligible fee. Others browse the souqs and rows upon rows of food vendors, consuming local specialty cuisines such as goat head and couscous. This food vendor must have been especially talented as his tent was continuously filled with smoking grills and patrons.
