Japanese garden at the peak of fall colors

Our family had not been to Butchart Gardens in nearly twenty years. We arrived in Victoria during the wettest October in history in the Northwest and on one afternoon during the week the sun came out in all its glory and we decided to see what the garden was like, not knowing we had caught the peak of autumn colors.
