Ho Chi Minh City: Thien Hau Temple
Sunshine resonates inside the Thein Hau Temple, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
This photo was taken on a local, cultural tour on Buddhism in Ho Chi Min City, Vietnam. Within the photo is a depiction of burned incense at Thien Hau Temple, or Ba Thien Hau Temple, which translates to 'Pagoda of the Lady Thien Hau'. It's an exact representation of sustainable travel because it promotes the education of local cultures and religions without electronic or mechanical disturbance to their environment.
What does a sustainable travel project look like to me?
The notion of sustainable travel is an aspect of tourism which maintains local and cultural habitats without the inclusion of harmful substances into the environment. In addition, it promotes the advancement of local communities and development of businesses to better enhance economic and social needs in life, with limited natural risk.
