Growing Up in a Tribe

Many people do not like to go to visit the Karen Hill Tribe villages in Thailand because it feels a bit like the women are in a zoo - you pay to enter and then go around taking photographs of the people. I felt a little this way, but I really wanted to interact with these people in a human way, and I was truly interested in them. I loved this very real and human moment that I was able to capture there.
