Gangasagar Mela in West Bengal is one of the most sacred held on Makar Sankranti Day, 15kms south of kolkata on an island where the river Ganga meets the ocean. Indian hindu pilgrims worship and offer prayers while taking a ritual bath at GangaSagar Island.
