This Red-Winged Blackbird used my truck as a perch to call his territory after I'd parked to go kayaking at a Mazonia lake. Every year since I encounter him when I kayak this lake.

Venice is June is filled with tourists. I placed a camera with tripod at the Riva degli Schiavoni after dark, and did some time exposures to create a sense of the overflowing crowds.
