Dancing with colors

A young girl dances with her companions as a part of Holi celebration. Holi is a Hindu religious festival of colors. The ritual of Holi came from ancient practice of "Holika Bonfire" the before Holi celebration. It is widely celebrated in many different parts of India. Bangladesh also has a long tradition of commemorating this event each year by Hindu communities living here. People from all walk of life participate in the carnival with colors. They throw color to each other. The celebration lasts till the evening. The festival symbolizes conquest of good over the evil spirits bringing a new relationship with each other.
