Climbing Volcan Acatenango

Spent the night sleeping in a tent on the slope of Volcan Acatenango, facing directly to Fuego. I was woken up by the strong eruptions of Volcan Fuego few times during the night. What a show! At 3am, we started to hike in the dark to summit Volcán Acatenango(13,045ft) by sunrise and to watch Fuego from a bit higher up this time. The constantly changing weather created amazing moments of opportunities and to appreciate the beauty of this volcano even more.
