Cherry Blossom Beauty in DC

The cherry blossom trees around the Tidal Basin are an expression of friendship between the US and Japan and have come to be a recognizable part of DC that brings visitors from far and wide. The blooming trees framing the Washington Monument provided an iconic view during the annual cherry blossom festival.
