Birch Creek Charcoal Kilns in Idaho

Idaho countryside at a National Historic Site of the Charcoal Kilns. Desolate and peaceful now; but, once in the late 1880's was a booming town of 1,000 people working the kilns. All you can hear now is the wind as you stand on the mountainside.
