. Book Cliffs at Twilight a. Traveling in the Grand Junction area of Colorado, one can see the impact of erosion on the Book Cliffs and Mount Garfield. The repetitive shapes and shadows support the flat topped surface of the cliffs. At twilight, pink clouds permeate the sky.
