Bicycles in Utrecht
When I visited Utrecht in the summer of 2014, it took a while for me to adjust to the fact that cars are almost non-existent: the whole city runs on bicycles. On every corner, hundred of bikes leaned, chained to one another. I found the penchant for bicycles an emblematic example of Dutch culture.
