Between Death And Life

I took this photo while traveling in Java Island (Indonesia). Our group was lucky to be near the volcano Bromo during a powerful discharge of ash from the vent. I had a few seconds to take this picture. Because after a second everything plunged into a cloud of volcanic ash. I was afraid that the camera would not stand and break. But local people and horses did not seem to notice the volcano. They continued to sell their souvenirs, offered their guide services and surfing the Internet.
