Asmat Masked Dancer

We were visiting Yahunyufri village in the Asmat region of Indonesia. We were one of the very few western groups allowed to visit this village. They weren't planning to allow the visit, but the fireflies descended on the village the night before we arrived, which was a sing that they should allow the visit. Before the performance started I saw one of the masked dancers warming up.
