Apawás Boatman

A boatman in Apawás, Region Autonomo Atlantico Sur, Nicaragua, begins his day by carrying his boat motor down to the Rio Grande de Matagalpa. Boatmen make their living carrying people and goods up and down the river in long, narrow wooden boats.
