13th Annual Smithsonian.com Photo Contest
Aborigine village in Perak, Malaysia.

This photo was taken in an aborigine village in Perak, Malaysia. While living in Malaysia, I traveled to this village and saw how bare the houses were, made of only slabs of metal and wood. I realized how important sustainability is because so many people depend on natural resources to survive.
