A Peaceful Oasis
The whole complex is part of the 6.5 acre development which was designed by a Japanese architect. The Suiho-en: "Garden of Water and Fragrance" is a skillful blending of traditional Japanese garden design. The Shoin dwelling in the background contains the Teahouse replica where the tea ceremony and other ancient Japanese traditions by the aristocrats, upper class monks, and Samurai during the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries are performed. The lake in the foreground or mid-ground is man-made and filled with recycled water.
